Jacey-She’s Figured it out!

Introducing Jacey, mermaid enthusiast, Mom and Mormon.   She’s also using the #ImaFitMormon 28 Day Program!  

It’s been my pleasure to watch this beautiful woman grow and figure out how to treat her body in the proper way.  I was browsing through her Instagram account and saw a post with an updated picture.  It was clear she had lost some weight and a friend commented on it.  Here are her comments.

“Other people shouldn’t be your motivation…..My big change came when I stopped hating my body and started lovingly caring for it and nourishing it. Please take care of yourself, sweetie.  You are a child of the Divine.  You are beautiful.

Do you have a plan for keeping it off? It’s not really that I’m dieting, I’ve just realized that I’ve not been very healthy with my eating habits, and I absolutely didn’t get enough exercise. So, I made a lifestyle change. I found out that the reason my knees are so wek is that I sit too much with legs bent. I need to strengthen my legs back up to make the pain go away.  So I’m working out more and eating better.”

I’m so proud of her.  Our program isn’t a QUICK weightloss program.  It’s built upon simple principles of feeding your body good foods, moving  30 minutes a day and include Heavenly Father in your plans.  It’s doable!

AFTER

April Thompson is 37 years old and lives in Houston, Texas. She and her husband have four children. She loves trying new things, including sports, foods, and crafts. She is a homemaker, blogger, hair and makeup artist, and personal trainer and currently serves in the Young Women's auxiliary. She loves teaching the youth about the Word of Wisdom, health and fitness.
