January- Clean Workout Music Playlist

Each month I like to hunt down songs, read the lyrics, make sure they’re not crummy and share them with you!  This way, you don’t have to listen to yucky junk that can offend your ears and the spirit.  My guidelines are as follows:

  • Must be fun to listen to
  • Must not curse
  • Must not talk about sex(sometimes I’m naive and don’t know if it’s implied)
  • Must not talk about getting drunk
  • Must not take the Lord’s name in vain.

I don’t create the playlist based on the lives that the artist’s live.  That would be nearly impossible.  We are ALL sinners.  Sometimes lyrics slip pass me.  If they do, just send me a message or leave a comment.  Hope you enjoy it!

    April, thank you!

I’m always searching for good workout music that is actually uplifting to listen to. There’s nothing worse than having to stop every few minutes and switch the song I just found your blog through instagram-don’t stop posting!!! The world needs more blogs like yours. I’m a Mormon blogger as well, but just getting started. Hugs!

Fantastic post! came across this post after looking for clean music to workout to. Such a shame that most of the songs out there treat women like tramps and the men don’t have an ounce of respect for ladies. Thanks for the list. Please keep adding more.

Just found your site by accident. (Really I don’t think it was an accident.) I like listening to music but never know where to go. I like that you put this together.
I am not very tech savvy.
Do I need to be on your site to listen to the music?
What’s the best way to listen to your list?

    Thanks!
    Maria
